Downdraft WITH Rotisserie Hole for Green Mountain Grills: Daniel Boone, Ledge, Jim Bowie or Peak
If you HAVE or WANT to have the Rotisserie option (I do NOT include the Rotisserie)
Does NOT fit GMG Prime 2.0
Does not fit Pimp My Grill shelf kits
DOES fit Doug Fisher's NO-DRILL Advantage Upper Shelf Kit, guaranteed
TIP: drill out the Spit Rod hole in the grill from the outside with a step drill for easier access of sliding the Spit Rod from inside the grill
IMPORTANT: CENTER the Spacer over the GMG Rivet Nut, (which is what the bolt threads into, on the INSIDE) or the bottom of the Downdraft will not fit against the chamber wall
(does NOT fit the Davy Crockett or Trek)

Easy install works as advertised

Super easy to install. Have only done 1 long cook with it and it was 96 degrees out that day but it seemed like I used less pellets.

This is just what the doctor ordered, great way to let smoke move around before leaving, also adjustable, not sure why some one would want less smoke but I love it thanks Don

Definitely cuts down on pellet consumption. Seems to add and help with smoke flavor. Glad I got this for my GMG DB. 5/5

The only issue that i have with it is, when i went to install the rotisserie rod in through the hole in the cover, the hole was not big enough for it.

My Danial Boone has been having temp problem for a while. The unit is 7 years old and was thinking she was on her last leg. Started researching temp problem on line and seen the Don Godke downdraft. The first time cooking with it the temp was a lot better. I had put multiple thermometers in the unit to see what the temps were at versus point. I’m only 5-10 degrees of what the unit is set at. Thank you very much and I would recommend it to all my friends.
