Downdraft WITH Rotisserie Hole for Green Mountain Grills: Daniel Boone, Ledge, Jim Bowie or Peak
If you HAVE or WANT to have the Rotisserie option (I do NOT include the Rotisserie)
Does NOT fit GMG Prime 2.0
Does not fit Pimp My Grill shelf kits
DOES fit Doug Fisher's NO-DRILL Advantage Upper Shelf Kit, guaranteed
TIP: drill out the Spit Rod hole in the grill from the outside with a step drill for easier access of sliding the Spit Rod from inside the grill
IMPORTANT: CENTER the Spacer over the GMG Rivet Nut, (which is what the bolt threads into, on the INSIDE) or the bottom of the Downdraft will not fit against the chamber wall

Love the downdraft for my GMG DB. Not only is it practical and produces a better cook with deeper smoke, consistent heat, and less fuel, it’s a handmade quality product. Made local, made to order, and Don a good person with a wealth of knowledge and support. Thank you Don.

So I installed this in my Jim Bowie Prime Plus. I've also got an extra shelf as well as use the rotisserie so I had concerns even if the FB GMG group said it would be fine. Not only did it work, but it was actually so much easier than I expected. I just did my first 14 hour brisket with it over the weekend, and it worked like a charm. Less pellets used and a different level of smokiness for sure, but definitely not too much. Don't even hesitate to buy this.

I buy products by researching everything first! After all of the research was finished and talking to current owners of this modification; I made the purchase! It’s everything advertised and more!
The first thing I noticed was my pellet consumption which was much lower than without this mod. Also my temperatures were much more even and the smoke rings on the meat were much more visible and deeper into the meat I’ve grilled/smoked. I recommend everyone to buy this downdraft! It makes all of the difference in the world! Thank you Don Godke and thank you for your stellar customer service!!

So happy that I purchased this product! Very easy install and step-by-step instructions fit perfectly in my grill. The start up does not take as long because of the design of the product and it uses less pellets and gives me more flavor.

Great product. I’ve already noticed an increase in smoke and maintained temps. Pellet consumption seems to be down but I haven’t had a chance to do many long smokes yet. It’s a great addition to any GMG and I would highly recommend.
