    I ordered the DownDraft on a late Tuesday night, and it was on my door step 2 days later. Amazing smooth process to install. Did my first cook with it and was mind blown on how it reduced the pellet consumption on my 7 hour cook. Not only that the grate temps were more consistent across the grate. To my surprise the food had more smoke flavor than ever before. Would recommend to anyone that this product is available for. You will not be disappointed!

    This helped even out the temps on my GMG DC. I have not used it long enough to tell if it saving pellets or added smoke flavor, but I am happy with even temps

    I have had a GMG Daniel Boone pellet smoker for almost three years and I installed a DG Downdraft as soon as I learned about it and it has performed as advertised. I recently purchased a new Davy Crockett grill and the first thing I did was order a DG Downdraft. This new stainless steel model is even better than the one in my Daniel Boone. It definitely retains more smoke inside the grill and reduces pellet consumption significantly. If you don't have one of these in your pellet smoker, you don't know what you don't know.

    Have not used very much. Noticed definitely more smoke flavor. Haven't noticed any deference yet in pellet usage. Thanks

    bought a green mountain davy crockett grill 2 months ago. I have cooked several things but not satisfied with the smoke flavor. I contacted Green Mountain grills and they suggested a tube you fill with pellets and light it. I did that and that wasn't the answer then found out about the "downdraft' ordered it and used it for the first time yesterday. EXCELLENT idea. the meat I smoked was just the way I like it. If it wasn't for this product the grill was useless for smoking. again EXCELLENT product .
