Does NOT fit any other GMG Smoker,
other than the GMG PRIME 2.0 Ledge or Peak
Does not fit with GMG's RackT system, must remove downdraft during it's use
Does not fit Pimp My Grill shelf kits
DOES fit Doug Fisher's NO-DRILL Advantage Upper Shelf Kit, guaranteed
Clean downdraft about every 6 months
Downdraft Modification:
- helps hold more Smoke & Heat in the chamber
- helps reduce pellet consumption
- helps even temperatures across the grill
Easy 7 minute installation, using new Black bolts, Black washers and Black Nuts (instructions & mounting hardware included)
No permanent modification to the grill for the Downdraft

New downdraft

I have a Ledge Prime 2.0 and wanted to see if I could get a little more smoke flavor on pork and beef. I considered different smoke producers but they required holes in my grill. Am tryimg out the downdraft to see how well it works. Had to remove my rackt, but I haven't been using it. So far I have done 2 cooks with the downdraft, one chicken, one flank steak. Not sure if I'm saving on pellets as I haven't kept track. There is a definite improvement in smoke flavor and the meats have cooked more evenly. Will see how things go but so far I'm pleased with the results.

Build quality is good and installation was a breeze. I can't speak to reduced pellet usage yet, but I had more smoke in the first two short cooks I've made with the downdraft installed. I am happy with my purchase. Thanks Don for a great product!

I had one on my old Davy Crockett, and it worked absolutely amazing. When I bought my new ledge prime 2.0, it was a no brainer on purchasing one for it.

New to Smoking! Bought the new Ledge 2.0. This Downdraft has changed the smoker completely. Better temperature control, more smoke flavor and less pellet consumption. Also great customer service with communication. Very easy 5 minute install & quality made product. I worked in metal fabrication for 20 plus years. I know a good product when I see it.
