Why'd I wait so long?

In my opinion, this product is nothing short of amazing!!! In the short time I've had it installed, it has shortened the time it takes for the DB to come to temp, increased smoke amounts, decreased pellet consumption & has helped even out the grill level temps. I'm very satisfied with this product

really helps with low temp smoking

I looked for this product to make low temp smoking more effective. I have found this to be true as far as reduced pellet use and when I use a smoke tube it keeps more smoke in the chamber. Above 300 with butterfly open I see no advantage.
Over all a valuable add to the grill.
I really like the help with smoke flavor. I have not had a problem with left to right temp I have heat shield all the way right.
I just did a batch of jerky and it was very even.

The Don Godke downdraft aids in making the temperature even across the grill. It provides more smoke and less pellet usage.

Easy to install and I'm loving it. The downdraft has managed to increase the smoke while decreasing the amount of pellets used.

Seems that down draft is helping not only pellet consumption but holding better temps across the grate.

If you are looking to stabilize your temps, reduce your pellet consumption and increase smoke then this is the product for you. Easy to install and use.

I am thoroughly pleased with my Don Godke's Downdraft! It does everything that it is supposed to do. Faster start ups, less pellet usage, and more even temperatures resulting in a worry free cooking experience. I highly recommend this product and have no clue as to why I didn't buy one sooner! Thank you Don for such an amazing product! You are a smoking rock star!
