DOES fit Doug Fisher's NO-DRILL Advantage Upper Shelf Kit, guaranteed
TIP: drill out the Spit Rod hole in the grill from the outside with a step drill for easier access of sliding the Spit Rod from inside the grill
IMPORTANT: CENTER the Spacer over the GMG Rivet Nut, (which is what the bolt threads into, on the INSIDE) or the bottom of the Downdraft will not fit against the chamber wall

I absolutely love this product. Was easy to install looks great and I have noticed I don’t use as many pellets in my smoke.

The downdraft delivered on all its’ hype! Reduction of pellets, more smoke, and an evening of the temperature from side to side across the cooking surface. This is a product I cannot find one negative thing about.

i came across the Downdraft via my wife, who found it on a BBQ facebook page.
seeing as it was from outside the EU, i was a bid hesitant to order.
but it was all great, the delivery was a bid longer than two weeks (which is expected as it was US to EU). It was delivered with good and clear instructions, complete with all the necessary nuts and bolts and in a solid cardboard box. a delivery truck could have driven over it and no damage would occur.
i have used it on several low and slow and high and fast cooks on my GMG ledge, and it works great. it produces les smoke on start up, its faster at starting temp, and it uses less pellets on low and slow cooks.
on high and fast its less noticeable but for me that's not a problem.
The PI&D for the heat management needed a little bid of time to get used to the new situation. (after 3 start ups it was al set. i use the GMG prime app to monitor )
further more it shows no interference with using the pizza mod for the GMG as long as you set the vent fully open.
1 minor point as far as payment options go, the inclusion of IDEAL payment options for EU customers would be a plus.

This is my 3rd downdraft. Every time I get a new grill I get a downdraft. The reduction in pellet consumption pays for the down draft in no time. Not to mention the add smoke flavor.

I’ve done 3 smokes so far and the downdraft has performed perfectly. I have seen an increase in smoke and I do believe I’ve seen a decrease in pellet usage. I’ve shown this to three buddies who are ordering it as well.

Took a great grill and made it even better! Easy to install and it’s not just a cheap piece of tin, quality metal, nice straight bends. Built to last the life of the grill.

I highly recommend this piece, it was super easy to install, and it works as designed. heats up quicker and uses less pellets.
