It fit. was pleasantly surprised when I installed it and the bolt holes actually lined up. I use an external device to add extra smoke. The Downdraft helped retain the smoke in the grill longer, extended the time between re-stoking the smoker and I think shortened the cook time by helping retain the heat in the grille. Great product.

Well made quality product. Easy installation, and works as advertised. I could not be happier.

I received the downdraft very quickly. My Blaz'n Grill has the removable top shelf so the installation was super easy. I did the initial burn in as the directions said and have not looked back.
We grill/smoke 3 or 4 times per week and I have seen a huge increase in both the smoke flavor generated as well as an increase in speed to get to temp. I have also noticed a decrease in the amount of pellets being used in long, slow smokes.
Great product and I highly recommend!!!

I’ve only used a handful of cooks so far but right away I can tell more smoke flavor and temps seem to stabilize a little better. Well worth the money in my opinion

I own a Baz’n Grand Slam with the pro shelf unit. Installation of the Down Draft would have been as easy as eating pie on a Grand Slam without the pro shelf upgrade. Installation with the pro shelf was much more involved. The top support tabs on the right pro shelf bracket must be ground or a notch cut to allow clearance of the tab for the downdraft. Once you cut or grind the notch you have to remove the bolts that remain (only to close the holes) from the original top shelf and the lid button bolt. This must be done to provide required clearance to get the pro shelf bracket reinstalled. If you have a Blaz’n with the pro shelf upgrade please understand that the downdraft installation is not a 5 minute job which it would be without the pro shelf unit.
The downdraft works as advertised so I am pleased with this upgrade. The downdraft is a very worth while upgrade.

It is more than a 5-minute job, with the Pro Shelf.
Once the modification to the Pro Shelf is done, it is a 5-minute install for my Downdraft.
Thanks for the great and real review
